I am excited to be joining Change for Children on a Teacher Brigade to Honduras, where we will collaborate with local educators, learn from one another, and build meaningful connections across classrooms and cultures. This experience is not about bringing answers, but about working together—sharing ideas, strategies, and perspectives that strengthen teaching and learning on both sides.
Spending time in Honduran schools will also deepen our understanding of what “hard” can truly look like in education—where teachers and students show incredible resilience and creativity despite limited resources. It is a powerful reminder of the dedication educators bring to their classrooms every day, no matter the circumstances.
