This summer, I will be travelling to rural and remote schools in Honduras with a group of Alberta teachers! The goal of our trip is to improve the quality of education available to marginalized children and young people in Honduras through collaboration with local teachers. We are fundraising to purchase much-needed school supplies for the schools we will be visiting.
In 2023 I travelled to Nicaragua with the same charity, Change for Children, and I am so excited to be working with them again. The Nicaragua trip was an experience of a lifetime and I am so grateful to have been able to work with teachers in remote communities in the BOSAWAS rainforest. I can’t wait to meet and work with teachers in Honduras!
